With groups meeting at multiple locations including Farmington Hills, Novi, Garden City, Bay City, and Grand Blanc, DBSA Metro Detroit offers some of the most accessible mood disorder support in Michigan.
What to Expect
Groups are peer-facilitated by individuals who live with mood disorders themselves, creating an atmosphere of genuine understanding and empathy. Sessions include open sharing, discussion of coping strategies, and mutual encouragement. Topics commonly addressed include medication management, therapy experiences, workplace challenges, relationship dynamics, and maintaining wellness routines. Both online and in-person meeting options are available depending on location.

Garden City: Every other Monday, 7:00 – 9:00 PM (online)
Bay City: 2nd & 4th Thursday, 6:30 – 8:00 PM (in-person)
Grand Blanc: 1st & 3rd Thursday (in-person)
