Organizations offering free groups list them at no cost through our Community plan.
How is this different from other therapist directories?
Most directories focus on connecting people with individual therapists. We’re built specifically for groups, from clinical therapy to peer support to community meetups, all in one place.
What’s the difference between group types?
Therapeutic groups are led by licensed professionals. Peer-led groups are facilitated by community members. Psychoeducation focuses on skill-building. Community groups are informal gatherings.
Can I list both in-person and virtual groups?
Yes! Specify in-person, virtual, or hybrid. Seekers can filter by format.
How do I report an issue with a group or provider?
Use the “Report an Issue” link in our Resources menu, or email us at contact@mytherapygroups.com.
For Therapy Group Providers
How do I list my therapy group?
There are 4 steps:
- Sign up. Click “List Your Group” in the menu and create an account.
- Choose a plan. Solo Provider ($29/mo) for individual therapists, or Group Practice ($59/mo) for practices listing multiple groups.
- Complete your provider profile. Add your name, credentials, languages, and a short bio. This appears at the top of every listing you publish.
- Submit your group. Fill in the listing form (category, title, address, format, schedule, cost, description) and click Submit. Most listings are approved within 24 to 48 hours.
Is there a discount for early members?

How long does approval take?
Most listings are approved within 24 to 48 hours. I review every listing personally to make sure it is accurate and useful for the people searching. If something needs clarifying, I will email you.
Can I list multiple groups?
Yes. Solo Provider supports up to 5 groups. Group Practice supports up to 20. Each listing gets its own page with its own schedule, topics, and details, so a stress-management group, a grief group, and a teen group can be three separate listings under one account.
Can I edit my listing after it is live?
Yes, anytime. Go to your account dashboard, click the listing, and update the details. Minor edits go live immediately.
What if I run a free community or nonprofit group?
Free forever. Nonprofits and peer-led support groups at no cost to participants get a free Community plan listing. Sign up like any other listing and we will confirm it qualifies during review.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account dashboard at any time. You keep access through the end of your billing period, your listings stay live until then, no fees.
