About This Group
The Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association (RMDSA) provides support groups and community programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout the Denver metro area and Colorado. Whether you’re a new parent, a sibling, or an adult with Down syndrome, RMDSA connects you with a supportive community and the resources you need to thrive at every stage of life.
What to Expect
RMDSA offers a range of programs including new parent support, playgroups, educational workshops, social events, and family networking opportunities. Support groups bring together families to share experiences, celebrate milestones, discuss challenges, and learn from one another. Programs are welcoming, inclusive, and designed to meet families where they are — whether you’ve just received a diagnosis or have been part of the community for years.
About Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association
The Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association (RMDSA) has been serving Colorado families since 1986. They provide support, education, and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Additional Colorado resources include the Northern Colorado Down Syndrome Association and the Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Association. The Arc of Colorado also provides advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities statewide.

Who This Group Is For
RMDSA serves individuals with Down syndrome of all ages, their parents, siblings, extended family members, and caregivers. Programs are available from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood.
