About This Group

The Compassionate Friends Greater Baltimore Chapter provides peer-led support for parents, siblings, and grandparents who have experienced the death of a child at any age and from any cause. This nationally affiliated group offers a safe, confidential space where bereaved families can share their grief, find understanding, and begin to rebuild their lives alongside others who truly understand their loss.

What to Expect

Monthly meetings run two hours and include time for sharing, listening, and connecting with others who have experienced similar losses. The group is peer-led by bereaved parents who have walked this path themselves. Meetings are offered in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation. There is no obligation to speak — listening is equally valued. New attendees are warmly welcomed and may find comfort simply in being present with others who understand.
