About This Group

NAMI Missouri is the state organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, providing free support groups, educational programs, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness throughout Missouri. NAMI Missouri coordinates a network of local affiliates across the state that offer programs including NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups, Family Support Groups, Family-to-Family classes, Peer-to-Peer courses, and more. Their mission is to improve the lives of Missourians affected by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy.

What to Expect

NAMI Missouri offers several types of free programs. NAMI Connection is a peer-led recovery support group for adults living with mental health conditions, meeting weekly or biweekly for 90 minutes. Family Support Group is a peer-led monthly meeting for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of individuals with mental illness. Family-to-Family is a free 8-session educational program for families and caregivers. Peer-to-Peer is a free 8-session course for adults with mental health conditions. All programs are led by trained volunteers with lived experience.
