About This Group
The NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group in Colorado Springs is a free, peer-led support group for adults (18+) living with mental health conditions. Whether you are managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, or any other mental health challenge, this group offers a safe and confidential environment where you can connect with others who understand what you are going through.
What to Expect
Sessions are led by trained peer facilitators who have their own lived experience of mental health recovery. Each meeting follows NAMI’s structured format and typically lasts 90 minutes. Participants are welcome to share as much or as little as they are comfortable with — there is no pressure to speak. The group offers mutual support, encouragement, and practical coping strategies in a judgment-free setting.

The affiliate serves the Pikes Peak region with free education programs, support groups, and advocacy efforts for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
