What to Expect
Tulane CAPS offers several group therapy formats: interpersonal process groups, skills-based groups, and structured support groups. One popular offering is the “Reducing Social Anxiety with Board Games” group, an 8-week program meeting Tuesdays from 3:30–5:00 PM that uses board games as a therapeutic tool for building social skills and reducing anxiety. Other groups address depression, relationship skills, stress management, and substance use. All groups are facilitated by experienced clinicians in a confidential campus setting.
