About This Group
The Emory Healthcare Veterans Program provides no-cost, evidence-based mental health treatment for post-9/11 veterans, service members, and National Guard/Reserve members struggling with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, anxiety, and depression. The program offers an intensive 2-week Accelerated Brain Health Program that achieves clinically significant improvement in approximately 75% of participants.
What to Expect
The Accelerated Brain Health Program is an intensive 2-week treatment program that combines individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches including Prolonged Exposure therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Group components provide peer connection with other veterans who understand military experiences. The program is available both in-person at the Atlanta campus and via telehealth to 42 US states. Treatment is provided at no cost to eligible participants.
