Al-Anon Family Services of Middle Tennessee provides peer-led support groups for families and friends of individuals with alcohol problems. These 12-step groups help family members understand that they are not alone, develop healthy coping strategies, and find serenity regardless of whether the alcoholic in their life is still drinking.

What to Expect

Al-Anon meetings follow a structured format with sharing, readings from Al-Anon literature, and mutual support. Members share experience, strength, and hope. Meetings are confidential and welcoming to newcomers. There is no pressure to speak — listening is always an option.
