The Alaska Mental Health Consumer Web (“The Web”) operates a peer-led drop-in center in Anchorage that provides community, support groups, and creative activities for individuals navigating mental health challenges, substance use issues, or homelessness. The Web is a warm, welcoming space where participants can connect with peer support specialists, join group activities, and access resources — all in a low-barrier, nonjudgmental environment.
What to Expect
The Web offers a variety of weekly programming including an Art Group for creative expression, Mind Body & Spirit group on Wednesdays for holistic wellness, and the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) program. The drop-in center is open Monday through Saturday and provides a community gathering space where participants can socialize, access peer mentorship, and get connected to additional services. No appointment or referral is needed — just walk in.
