About This Group
The Blood Cancers Patient Support Group is a professionally led group for individuals living with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and related conditions. A blood cancer diagnosis can feel isolating, and this group provides a safe space to connect with others who are navigating similar experiences — sharing fears, celebrating milestones, and supporting one another through the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
What to Expect
Sessions are facilitated by an oncology social worker who provides both emotional and practical support. Topics may include managing treatment side effects, coping with uncertainty, communicating with your medical team, dealing with changes in work and relationships, and finding sources of strength and hope. The group is welcoming and nonjudgmental — sharing is encouraged but never required.
