About This Group
The Brain Injury Alliance of Oregon (BIAOR) provides statewide support groups, expert resources, education, and veteran services for individuals living with traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, brain tumors, and anoxic brain injury. Through in-person and online support groups, a resource help center, and the Brain Injury Program providing free referrals, BIAOR serves Oregonians of all ages and income levels affected by brain injury.
What to Expect
BIAOR offers in-person and online support groups where brain injury survivors, caregivers, and family members can connect with others who understand their challenges. Groups provide emotional support, practical information about rehabilitation and resources, and a sense of community. The help center provides individual resource navigation, and the Brain Injury Program offers free referrals to appropriate services. Educational programs and training help both survivors and professionals understand brain injury recovery.
