Carolina Caring - Grief Support & Bereavement NC
About This Group
Carolina Caring provides comprehensive grief support and bereavement services across the Charlotte/Mecklenburg area and Western North Carolina. As a hospice and palliative care organization, Carolina Caring extends compassion beyond patient care to offer grief support groups, one-on-one grief counseling, grief workshops, and a specialized children’s grief program called Brighter Days. Grief services are open to the entire community, not just families of hospice patients.
What to Expect
Carolina Caring’s grief services include facilitated support groups where participants can share their grief experiences and find comfort among others who understand loss. One-on-one counseling provides personalized support for those who prefer individual attention. The Brighter Days children’s grief program uses age-appropriate activities to help young people process their feelings of loss. Grief workshops offer education and coping strategies for navigating the bereavement journey.
