About This Group
The Colorado Springs Senior Center is the only dedicated senior center in Colorado Springs, offering more than 20 different programs daily for adults age 55 and older. Whether you are looking for fitness classes, creative arts, educational workshops, live music and dancing, or simply a place to enjoy a hot meal and good conversation, the Senior Center provides a vibrant, welcoming community hub where older adults can stay active, connected, and engaged.
What to Expect
The Senior Center offers an extraordinary range of ongoing activities that require no registration — just show up. Highlights include daily lunch service Monday through Friday, live band music with dancing every Thursday afternoon (1:30–3:00 PM) and the third Sunday of each month (3:00–5:00 PM), coffee and conversation in the lobby, and entertaining special events each month. Registered classes cover arts, general education, computers, fitness, health and wellness, dance, and personal business topics. The center also hosts the annual Colorado Senior Games for adults 50+.
Who It’s For
All adults, with priority given to those 55 and older. The center welcomes people of all backgrounds, fitness levels, and interests. Adjusted fees and scholarships are available for low-income adults.
