Colorado Trans Autistic Support — Peer Support Group (Virtual)
About This Group
Colorado Trans Autistic Support is a weekly peer support group for anyone who identifies as both trans (or nonbinary) and autistic. The group recognizes the growing body of research showing higher rates of gender diversity among autistic individuals, and provides a dedicated space for people navigating both identities. This is a peer-run group — not therapy — focused on mutual support, shared experience, and community building.
What to Expect
The group meets every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Mountain Time via Zoom. Sessions are informal and peer-facilitated, with topics driven by whatever participants want to discuss — gender identity, autism experiences, navigating healthcare, social situations, self-advocacy, or just having a conversation with people who understand. A formal autism diagnosis is not required to attend, and the group welcomes people who are still exploring their gender identity.
Who It’s For
Anyone who identifies as trans, nonbinary, or gender-diverse and autistic (or suspects they may be autistic). No formal diagnosis required. The group is open to people across Colorado and beyond.
