About This Group
The NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group in Denver is a free, peer-led support group for adults (18+) living with mental health conditions. Whether you are managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, or any other mental health challenge, this group provides a safe and confidential space to connect with others who understand your experience.
What to Expect
Sessions are led by trained peer facilitators with their own lived experience of mental health recovery. Each meeting follows NAMI’s structured format and typically runs 90 minutes. Participants are welcome to share as much or as little as they are comfortable with — there is never pressure to speak. The group focuses on mutual support, encouragement, and shared coping strategies in a judgment-free environment.

NAMI Denver is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness serving the City and County of Denver. NAMI Denver provides free education, support groups, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness. Multiple meeting times are available each week to accommodate different schedules.

Schedule: Multiple weekly options available — virtual meetings Monday through Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM, plus an in-person option on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 2:30 PM
