About This Group

NAMI Fort Wayne provides free peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families in the Fort Wayne and northeast Indiana area. The affiliate offers 19 programs including NAMI Connection, Family Support Groups, educational classes, and free QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention training.

What to Expect

Support groups are facilitated by trained NAMI peers with lived experience. NAMI Connection groups serve individuals living with mental illness, while Family Support Groups help loved ones and caregivers. The affiliate also provides QPR suicide prevention training free to the community, equipping participants with skills to recognize and respond to suicide warning signs. All programs are free and require no referral.
