About This Group

NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley is a coalition of seven regional NAMI affiliates providing Connection Support Groups and Family Support Groups across Mississippi. With groups in Meridian, Vicksburg, Hattiesburg, Coastal MS, Tupelo, Oxford, McComb, and the Jackson metro area, they ensure peer-led mental health support reaches communities throughout the state.

What to Expect

Support groups are peer-led by trained NAMI facilitators who emphasize collective lived experiences. Connection groups serve individuals living with mental health conditions, while Family Support Groups provide guidance and support for caregivers and loved ones. The regional model ensures that support is available in communities that might otherwise lack specialized mental health peer support resources.
