NAMI Maine is the state organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, providing free peer-led support groups, educational programs, and advocacy across Maine. Through Connection Recovery Support Groups and Family Support Groups, NAMI Maine offers vital mental health peer support in communities throughout the state.

What to Expect

NAMI Maine offers several program types: Connection Recovery Support Groups for individuals with lived mental health experience, Family Support Groups for loved ones and caregivers, and educational programs including Family-to-Family, Peer-to-Peer, and NAMI Basics. All groups are led by trained peer facilitators who create safe, confidential environments for sharing experiences and building coping strategies.
