About This Group
NAMI Nebraska is the state organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, providing free support groups, educational programs, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness throughout Nebraska. NAMI Nebraska coordinates local affiliates across the state that offer NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups, Family Support Groups, Family-to-Family classes, and other evidence-based programs designed to help Nebraskans navigate mental health challenges.
What to Expect
NAMI Nebraska offers several types of free programs. NAMI Connection is a peer-led recovery support group for adults living with mental health conditions. Family Support Group is a peer-led group for family members and caregivers. Family-to-Family is a free 8-session educational program. Programs are led by trained volunteers with lived experience and follow structured, evidence-based formats. Both in-person and virtual options are available across the state.
