NAMI Omaha has been supporting, educating, and advocating for individuals and families affected by mental illness in the Omaha metropolitan area since 1986. Serving Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington counties, NAMI Omaha offers free peer-led support groups and educational programs. Their mission is to provide hope, support, and education to those navigating mental health challenges in the greater Omaha community.
What to Expect
NAMI Omaha offers peer-led support groups for individuals with mental health conditions and separate groups for family members and caregivers. Groups are facilitated by trained volunteers with lived experience and follow a structured, confidential format. Educational programs provide in-depth understanding of mental health conditions and recovery. Both in-person and virtual meeting options are available. New members are welcome at any support group meeting.
