NAMI Southeast Wisconsin serves the greater Milwaukee metropolitan area, including Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Jefferson counties, providing peer support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families impacted by mental health conditions. As one of Wisconsin’s most active NAMI affiliates, they offer a robust schedule of support groups and educational programming year-round, both in-person and virtually.
Groups Offered
- NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group: Peer-led groups for adults living with mental health conditions, meeting regularly in Milwaukee and surrounding communities
- NAMI Family Support Group: Peer-led groups for family members and caregivers of individuals living with mental illness
- Family-to-Family Education: Free multi-session education course for families, partners, and caregivers
