About This Group
NAMI Topeka provides free peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families in the Topeka and Shawnee County area. Through NAMI Connection and Family Support Groups, they offer consistent, compassionate peer support in Kansas’s capital city.
What to Expect
NAMI Connection meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. Family Support Groups meet on the 2nd Monday from 6:00–7:30 PM at Faith Lutheran Church. Both groups are facilitated by trained peers who create a safe, confidential space for sharing experiences, learning coping strategies, and building supportive connections with others who understand mental health challenges.
About NAMI Topeka
NAMI Topeka is a dedicated affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, working to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness in the Topeka area. Through support groups, education, and advocacy, they help ensure that no one in the community faces mental illness alone.
