About NAMI Yakima

The chapter brings NAMI’s proven programs to a region where mental health resources can be limited, ensuring that Yakima-area residents have access to peer support and education close to home.

What Groups Are Offered?

NAMI Yakima offers NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups for adults with mental health conditions, meeting weekly with multiple time options. Family Support Groups provide support for caregivers and loved ones. Educational programs are offered periodically. All groups are facilitated by trained peer volunteers with lived experience. Both in-person and virtual options are available.

Who Can Join?

Programs are open to anyone in the Yakima Valley affected by mental health conditions. No diagnosis, referral, or insurance is required.
