About Pride Center of Vermont
The Pride Center of Vermont is the state’s community center for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies, located in Burlington. The center provides support groups, community programming, the SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program for LGBTQ+ survivors of violence, health and wellness resources, and advocacy services. The Pride Center serves as a vital gathering place and resource hub for Vermont’s LGBTQ+ community across all ages and identities.
What Groups Are Offered?
The Pride Center offers peer-led support groups including groups for LGBTQ+ older adults (55+), transgender and nonbinary community groups, social gatherings, and health and wellness programming. The SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program provides specialized support, advocacy, and safety planning for LGBTQ+ people who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or hate violence. Community events, educational workshops, and social activities run throughout the year.
