About This Group
The Seeds of NOLA Trauma Recovery Center at University Medical Center provides free trauma survivor support groups for individuals affected by traumatic injury and violence in the New Orleans community. This professionally-led program offers both in-person and virtual support for trauma survivors aged 13 and older.
What to Expect
The trauma survivor’s support group meets weekly from 3:30–4:30 PM with both in-person and virtual attendance options. Groups are facilitated by professional staff trained in trauma recovery and provide a safe space for processing traumatic experiences, learning coping strategies, and connecting with other survivors.
