About This Group
The Women’s Emotional Wellness Group at Stillwater Counseling & Wellness is a therapeutic space created specifically for women navigating the unique pressures and emotional challenges of modern life — from perfectionism and people-pleasing to burnout, relationship struggles, and the invisible labor of caregiving. Led by Dr. Sarah Mitchell, this group provides a confidential, all-women environment where participants can explore their emotional patterns, strengthen their sense of self, and build authentic connections.

What to Expect
This ongoing group (6–8 participants) meets weekly for 90-minute sessions. Sessions combine interpersonal process work with CBT-based skill building. Topics include setting and maintaining boundaries, identifying and expressing needs, managing guilt and perfectionism, navigating relationship dynamics, and developing a sustainable self-care practice. The group format allows women to see their patterns reflected in others’ experiences, gain perspective, and practice new ways of relating — all within a supportive, nonjudgmental space.

Who It’s For
Women (18+) who are dealing with stress, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, relationship difficulties, burnout, or a desire for deeper self-understanding and growth. This group is ideal for women who want more than individual therapy — the relational experience of connecting with other women is a core part of the healing process.
