About This Group

ANAD (National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders) hosts a weekly eating disorder support group in downtown Chicago. Meeting Thursday evenings, the group provides free peer support for individuals affected by eating disorders as well as their friends and family members, creating a compassionate space for sharing recovery experiences and building hope.

The Thursday evening support group at 6:30 PM brings together individuals in various stages of eating disorder recovery for peer support and connection. About ANAD

ANAD is the oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and alleviation of eating disorders, founded in 1976. ANAD provides free support groups, a helpline, mentorship programs, and educational resources. The Chicago group is one of many ANAD-affiliated support groups across Illinois and the nation.
