Available by phone, text, or online chat, these services connect callers with trained crisis counselors who can provide immediate support and connect individuals with local resources throughout the Granite State.

What to Expect

When you call or text 988 or the NH Rapid Response line (833-710-6477), you will be connected with a trained crisis counselor who will listen without judgment, assess your situation, provide immediate emotional support, and help develop a safety plan if needed. Counselors can also dispatch mobile crisis teams when needed and connect you with local mental health services. Veterans can press 1 when calling 988 for specialized support. Spanish-language services are available.
