About This Group

CHADD of Grand Rapids offers peer-led support and education groups for adults with ADHD and parents of children with ADHD. Separate adult and parent groups meet monthly, providing specialized support for the unique challenges each group faces. Meetings feature guest speakers, educational presentations, and open discussion in a welcoming, understanding environment.

What to Expect

Monthly meetings typically feature a presentation on an ADHD-related topic followed by group discussion. The Adult Group focuses on strategies for managing ADHD in work, relationships, and daily life. The Parent Group addresses advocacy in schools, medication decisions, behavioral strategies, and supporting children’s emotional development. Both groups provide opportunities for peer connection and sharing of practical tips and resources.
