Gamblers Anonymous Ohio - Area 10 - Statewide Meetings
About This Group
Gamblers Anonymous Ohio (Area 10) provides free, anonymous fellowship meetings for individuals struggling with gambling addiction throughout the state of Ohio. As part of the international Gamblers Anonymous organization active since 1957, Ohio meetings follow the 12-step program and offer a supportive community of peers who understand the challenges of compulsive gambling. Gam-Anon groups are also available for family members affected by a loved one’s gambling.
What to Expect
Gamblers Anonymous meetings follow a structured 12-step format where members share their experiences, strength, and hope with one another. Meetings are anonymous and confidential — no last names are used, and what is shared in meetings stays in meetings. New members are welcomed warmly and there is no pressure to speak. The Ohio Gambling Telehealth Network (OGTN) also provides professional counseling, and the GamTalk online community offers additional peer support between meetings.
