NAMI Anne Arundel County – Family & Individual Support (Millersville, MD)
About This Group
NAMI Anne Arundel County offers both Connection Support Groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and Family Support Groups for their loved ones. These peer-led groups meet at multiple locations throughout the county, providing accessible mental health support to residents of the Annapolis, Severna Park, Odenton, and Edgewater areas.
What to Expect
Connection groups are led by trained peers with lived experience who guide discussions using NAMI’s structured format. Participants share personal experiences, learn coping strategies, and find encouragement from others on similar journeys. Family Support Groups help caregivers and loved ones understand mental illness, navigate the mental health system, and develop effective support strategies while caring for their own well-being.
