What to Expect
NAMI support groups are structured, confidential gatherings led by trained peer facilitators. Meetings typically last 60–90 minutes and follow a supportive format where participants share experiences and coping strategies. There is no pressure to speak—you are welcome to just listen. First-time attendees are greeted warmly and the group format is explained at the start of each session.
Cost & Confidentiality
All NAMI El Paso programs and support groups are completely free. NAMI maintains strict confidentiality standards—what is shared in the group stays in the group. No records of attendance or personal information are shared outside the organization.
