About This Group
NAMI Montgomery provides free peer-led support for individuals and families affected by mental illness in Alabama’s capital region. Their Family Support Group meets monthly at Frazer United Methodist Church and provides a welcoming, confidential space for family members and caregivers to share experiences, learn practical skills, and find community.
What to Expect
The Family Support Group meets the 2nd Monday of each month in Room 7201 (Fellowship Hall, 2nd Floor) at Frazer United Methodist Church. Sessions are led by trained NAMI facilitators and follow a structured format encouraging open sharing and mutual support. NAMI Montgomery also offers educational programs and advocacy initiatives.
