About The Compassionate Friends – Seattle
The Compassionate Friends Seattle Chapter provides peer-led grief support for bereaved parents, grandparents, and adult siblings following the death of a child of any age, from any cause. The chapter offers monthly meetings where families grieving the loss of a child can find understanding, comfort, and hope from others who share their experience in the Seattle/King County area.
What Groups Are Offered?
The chapter holds monthly peer-led support meetings where bereaved family members share their grief experiences, discuss coping strategies, and offer mutual encouragement. The group welcomes families grieving children of any age and from any cause of death. Special remembrance events and holiday support activities may be offered throughout the year.
Who Can Join?
Any bereaved parent, grandparent, or adult sibling is welcome, regardless of when the loss occurred. No registration or membership fee is required.
