NAMI Peer-to-Peer Education Program – Denver (Virtual)
About This Program
The NAMI Peer-to-Peer Education Program is a free, eight-session experiential learning course for adults (18+) living with mental health conditions. Unlike a support group, Peer-to-Peer is a structured educational program that helps participants build skills for recovery, develop greater self-awareness, and create a personal wellness plan. The Denver-area sessions are offered virtually, making them accessible from anywhere in Colorado.
What to Expect
The program consists of eight weekly sessions, each lasting approximately two hours. Sessions are taught by trained leaders and volunteer support persons — all with their own lived experience of mental health recovery. Topics include understanding mental health conditions, building resilience, developing a relapse prevention plan, and creating a vision for your recovery journey. Participants commit to attending all eight sessions for the full benefit of the program.

NAMI Denver is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness serving the City and County of Denver. NAMI provides free education, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness. The Peer-to-Peer program is one of NAMI’s signature education offerings available nationwide.
