About This Group
NAMI Sacramento has served the capital region for nearly 40 years, providing free peer-led NAMI Connection recovery support groups and family support groups for individuals and families affected by mental illness. They are one of the most established NAMI affiliates in California with award-winning mental health education programs.
What to Expect
Groups are led by trained peer facilitators with personal experience with mental health conditions or caregiving. NAMI Connection groups support adults living with mental health conditions, while Family Support Groups help caregivers and loved ones. Sessions provide a safe, confidential space for sharing, learning coping strategies, and building community connections.
