Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Florida Region coordinates thousands of recovery meetings throughout the state of Florida for individuals seeking freedom from drug addiction. NA is a nonprofit, international community-based organization that offers a recovery program based on the Twelve Steps. Meetings are open to anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, regardless of the specific substance involved.

What to Expect

NA meetings come in several formats including open discussion, speaker meetings, step study, and literature study. Most meetings last 60-90 minutes. Open meetings welcome anyone interested in learning about NA, while closed meetings are reserved for those who identify as addicts. The atmosphere is non-judgmental and supportive. No fees, dues, or registration are required — meetings are supported entirely by voluntary contributions from members.

About NA Florida Region

The NA Florida Region encompasses the entire state of Florida, with area service committees coordinating local meetings in every major city and most communities. Florida has one of the largest NA fellowship communities in the nation, with meetings available throughout the day and evening, seven days a week. The Florida Region provides meeting directories, event information, and public information services.

Who This Group Is For

Anyone with a desire to stop using drugs. NA welcomes people struggling with any type of substance use, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or background. Both newcomers and those with long-term recovery are welcome. Family members can find support through Nar-Anon Family Groups.
