The North Dakota Brain Injury Network (NDBIN) provides support, education, and resource navigation for individuals living with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families throughout North Dakota. Headquartered at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, NDBIN operates peer support groups in Bismarck and Fargo, helping brain injury survivors connect with others who understand their challenges and find pathways to improved quality of life.
What to Expect
NDBIN support groups provide a safe, welcoming environment where individuals affected by brain injury can share experiences, learn from one another, and access information about community resources. Groups are facilitated and typically last one hour. Topics may include coping strategies, cognitive rehabilitation techniques, emotional adjustment, and navigating the healthcare system. NDBIN staff also provide individual resource navigation to help connect participants with appropriate services.

Through information dissemination, support groups, resource navigation, and professional education, NDBIN serves as the state’s primary resource for brain injury-related support and advocacy.

Bismarck Support Group: 4th Thursday of each month, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Fargo Support Groups: Last Thursday monthly, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM; 3rd Thursday monthly, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
