Spectrum Parent Adventures — Parent Social Group (Aurora, CO)
About This Group
Spectrum Parent Adventures is a free monthly social group for parents and caregivers of individuals on the autism spectrum, hosted at the Autism Community Store in Aurora. Parenting a child on the spectrum can be isolating, and this group offers a chance to step out, connect with other parents who truly understand, and enjoy some well-deserved downtime. The group periodically organizes parent nights out at autism-friendly venues like Brewability and Pizzability.
What to Expect
Spectrum Parent Adventures meets the second Saturday of each month from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Autism Community Store’s Community Center. Gatherings are casual and social — this is a space to decompress, share stories, swap advice, and build friendships with other autism parents. Some months the group ventures out to local autism-friendly restaurants and venues for a change of scenery. The emphasis is on peer connection and having fun, not structured support.
Who It’s For
