About This Group
NAMI Jacksonville (NAMI Duval) offers free peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and their family members in the Jacksonville and Northeast Florida area. These groups follow the nationally recognized NAMI Support Group model, providing a judgment-free environment where participants share experiences, exchange coping strategies, and build connections with others navigating similar challenges.
What to Expect
Each group is facilitated by trained NAMI peers with lived experience of mental health conditions. Meetings follow a structured agenda that balances open discussion with supportive guidance. Both general mental health support groups and family-specific groups are available. Sessions last approximately 60-90 minutes, and new participants are always welcome.
