The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) Charlotte chapter provides peer-led support groups for individuals living with depression, bipolar disorder, and related mood conditions in the Charlotte metropolitan area. Serving an 11-county region including Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Rowan, and Union counties, DBSA Charlotte offers six support group meetings per week with both in-person and online options.
What to Expect
DBSA support groups are facilitated by peers who live with mood disorders, creating an atmosphere of genuine understanding and mutual support. Meetings include sharing time, coping skill discussions, and wellness education. With six meetings per week, participants can find a time and format that works for their schedule. No registration or fee is required — simply show up.
