Free Adult Grief Support Groups in Grand Junction | HopeWest
About This Group
HopeWest is Western Colorado’s nonprofit hospice and grief care organization, and its grief support program is open to the whole community, not only hospice families. Support groups for adults are free, and HopeWest states plainly that ability to pay is never a deciding factor. Groups are facilitated by trained grief professionals, including a licensed professional counselor and a chaplain with clinical pastoral education.
What to Expect
Small facilitated groups where people who have lost a loved one can talk, listen, and learn ways of coping alongside others who understand. HopeWest also offers workshops and one-on-one counseling on a sliding scale if a group is not the right fit yet.
Who This Is For
Any adult in Mesa County or the surrounding Western Slope counties who has experienced the death of a loved one, whether or not the loss involved hospice care. HopeWest serves Mesa, Delta, Montrose, Ouray, and Rio Blanco counties. Browse more Colorado support groups on our Colorado page.
