NAMI Philadelphia is the city’s leading grassroots mental health organization, providing free peer-led support groups, education, and advocacy for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families. Located on Roosevelt Boulevard, NAMI Philadelphia offers weekly support groups, educational programs, and community resources for people dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and all other mental health conditions.
What to Expect
NAMI Philadelphia offers structured peer-led support groups where participants share experiences and learn coping strategies in a safe, confidential environment. NAMI Connection groups serve adults living with mental health conditions. NAMI Family Support Groups help caregivers and loved ones. Educational programs including Family-to-Family and Peer-to-Peer provide in-depth courses on mental health conditions and recovery. All facilitators are trained individuals with lived experience.
