About This Group

NAMI Wichita provides free peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families in the Wichita, Kansas area. Offering NAMI Connection recovery support groups and Share and Care meetings, NAMI Wichita creates a compassionate community where people affected by mental illness can find understanding and hope.

What to Expect

NAMI Connection meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:15 PM in a hybrid in-person and Zoom format. Meetings are led by trained peer facilitators with lived mental health experience and follow NAMI’s structured curriculum while allowing organic, supportive discussion. Share and Care meetings offer additional monthly peer support. Both groups provide confidential, judgment-free environments where you can share your experiences and learn from others navigating similar challenges.

About NAMI Wichita

NAMI Wichita is a grassroots affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, serving the Wichita community through support, education, and advocacy. In addition to support groups, they offer educational programs including NAMI Family-to-Family, NAMI Peer-to-Peer, and community presentations to increase mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

Who This Group Is For
