Cook Inlet — Free Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) — Kenai, AK
The North Peninsula Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) meeting, hosted by Cook Inlet Counseling on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, is a free, ongoing peer support group for people working toward healthier, more functional relationships. CoDA is a Twelve Step fellowship of people who share a common desire to develop honest, fulfilling connections — with others and with themselves. The meeting is offered both in person and over Zoom, making it accessible to residents across the North Peninsula and beyond.
What to Expect
Meetings are held every Wednesday at 6:00 PM, both in person at Cook Inlet Counseling and through Zoom. Following the CoDA format, members share their experience, strength, and hope as they work to find freedom where there has been bondage and peace where there has been turmoil in their relationships. There is no professional diagnosis required and no cost to attend; the atmosphere is welcoming, confidential, and rooted in mutual support.
Who This Group Is For
This group is open to any adult who wants to build functional and healthy relationships and move beyond past patterns of codependence. Whether you are new to recovery or have been on this path for years, all are welcome. No referral or assessment is needed — simply show up, in person or online.
Why Peer Support Works
Codependence often grows in isolation, where unhealthy relationship patterns feel normal and hard to name. Peer-led recovery offers a space to recognize those patterns alongside others who understand them firsthand. The shared accountability and lived wisdom of a Twelve Step fellowship can help members build self-awareness, set boundaries, and sustain change in ways that are difficult to achieve alone.
