Free Widowed and Spouse Loss Grief Groups - Lafayette | TRU Community Care

About This Group

TRU Community Care, the Lafayette-based nonprofit hospice serving Boulder County and the northern Denver metro since 1976, runs ongoing drop-in grief groups facilitated by its Grief Services team. In TRU’s own words, each group is open to the community, and most groups are free of charge.

Three Groups for Widowed People

Widowed Senior Grief Support Group: for senior men and women grieving a spouse or partner, 4th Wednesday of each month, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in person, weather permitting. Spouse/Partner Loss Group: for anyone who has lost a spouse or partner, 3rd Tuesday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, hybrid. First Year Spouse/Partner Group: for those within 12 months of the loss, 2nd Tuesday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, via Zoom.

What to Expect

Drop-in format once registered, so you attend as your schedule and heart allow. Groups are facilitated by TRU’s professional grief services staff.
