Free ALS Support Groups - Statewide | ALS United Rocky Mountain
About This Group
ALS United Rocky Mountain, established locally in 1996, supports people living with ALS and their families across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. In the organization’s own words, support group meetings are free and open to all people living with ALS and their caregivers.
What to Expect
Groups facilitated by the organization’s professional care team, where participants share personal experiences, learn strategies for preserving independence and quality of life, and, in the org’s words, learn they are not alone nor without help or hope. Occasional guest speakers cover relevant topics. ALS affects the entire family, and dedicated caregiver-only groups honor that.
Who This Is For
People living with ALS, their caregivers, family, and friends, anywhere in Colorado. Groups meet virtually via Zoom, with links emailed before each meeting.
How to Join
The Colorado/Wyoming Family Caregiver group meets the 1st Wednesday of each month, 10:00 to 11:30 AM. Additional regional groups for patients and families are listed on the support groups page at alsrockymountain.org.
