About Bear River Mental Health

Bear River Mental Health is the designated community mental health center serving Box Elder, Cache, and Rich counties in northern Utah. What Groups Are Offered?

Bear River Mental Health offers several therapeutic group programs including DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills groups, anger management groups, substance use treatment groups, trauma recovery groups, and general mental health support groups for adults, adolescents, and children. Groups are facilitated by licensed clinicians and focus on developing coping skills, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.

Services are available to residents of Box Elder, Cache, and Rich counties in northern Utah. The center serves individuals of all ages, from children through older adults. Services are available regardless of ability to pay—the center accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most private insurance, and offers a sliding fee scale for uninsured individuals. An initial assessment is required to determine appropriate services.

Meeting Schedule & Location

Groups meet on regular weekly schedules at the Logan clinic and at satellite offices in Brigham City and other northern Utah communities.
