About This Group

DBSA Arlington Heights provides free peer-run support groups for individuals living with depression and bipolar disorder in the northwest Chicago suburbs. The chapter offers two weekly meeting options — Monday evening and Thursday lunchtime — making it easier for participants to find a time that fits their schedule.

What to Expect

Meetings are peer-run, facilitated by individuals who have personal experience with mood disorders. The Monday evening group meets at 7:00 PM and the Thursday lunch break group meets at 12:00 PM, both in-person only. Sessions provide a confidential, supportive space for open discussion about living with depression and bipolar disorder. Both individuals with mood disorders and their supporters (family and friends) are welcome. No registration needed.
